The À l’école de la nature
program allows elementary and high school children to enjoy a free
recreational/educational activity in a Quebec national park.
Developed by the Fondation québécoise en
environnement, and offered free of charge by Richelieu merchants
and Parcs Québec (SÉPAQ), the program aims to raise
young people’s awareness to ecological issues, environmental
protection and sustainable development.
These learning activities, whether self-guided or led by a park
warden-naturalist, give students an opportunity to learn a concrete
lesson in a breathtaking outdoor classroom. The children discover
stunning natural environments inhabited by plants and animals whose
protection and survival pose numerous challenges.
All À l’école de la nature
outings are held during warm days in spring and fall.
